I am so glad that you are here!
My name is Elder Norman Stokes. I would like to take this opportunity to welcome you and to say it is an honor and a privilege to have you as a member of True Holiness Covenant of Peace Assembly of Walnut Hills.
The Holy Scriptures tells us in Psalms 133:1, Behold, how good and how pleasant it is for brethren to dwell together in unity! We are looking forward to fellowshipping you, and worshipping the Lord in the beauty of Holiness.
I received the Holy Ghost in September 22, 1981. I became a member of True Holiness Church of God Silverton, under the leadership of Bishop Eddita D. Tolber. In 2004, the Silverton church name was changed to True Holiness Covenant of Peace Assembly, of Silverton. While working faithfully in the Silverton Church, in 1988, the Lord directed me to go and work at the newly formed Woodlawn church. I was eager and willing to serve. I was called into the ministry and ordained Evangelist, and in 1996, I was ordained Elder.
In 2000, I transferred my membership to the Loveland church, under the leadership of Bishop Dr. Pamela A. Smith.
My Wife and I Traveled in the Midwest and East Coast for Our Ministry.
In 2002, the Lord sent me and my wife to Wilmington, Delaware to assist in the work for 9 ½ years. The Lord opened many doors for ministry. We traveled from Delaware, to New Jersey, and Maryland, conducting Bible Study, Teaching Revivals, and Sunday Morning Worship Service.
In 2011, I returned to Walnut Hills, I am presently a member of the Pastor’s Staff, I serve on the Trustee Board, I teach the Adult Sunday School Class, and I am a Facility Manager.
I am an entrepreneur as well. I owned and operated a small business. I have also worked in the capacity of Director of Environmental Services for the Delaware, Philadelphia, and New Jersey regions.
My wife is Evangelist Nadine Stokes; we have 1 married daughter, and 4 grandchildren.
