Room of Worship

Praise Hands Raised

The Act of Worship

You have entered the Room of Worship.  You are just in time for a good praise.

Worship is Spirit-filled and Spirit-led, in the same manner as the early church of the Apostles.  In the beginning of our services, worshippers are directed into a prayer of dedication, corporate praise, and individual testimonials that proclaim the wondrous works of God in their lives.

The Call to Worship

“Welcome to the worship service of the Lord Jesus Christ.  It is a great privilege to worship Him with His people.  Let’s prepare our hearts and minds to worship Him on one accord.”

Shout joyfully to God, all the earth; Sing the glory of His name; Make His praise glorious. Say to God, “How awesome are Thy works! Because of the greatness of Thy power Thine enemies will give feigned obedience to Thee. “All the earth will worship Thee, and will sing praises to Thee; They will sing praises to Thy name.” (Psalm 66:1-4)

O come, let us sing for joy to the Lord; Let us shout joyfully to the rock of our salvation. Let us come before His presence with thanksgiving; Let us shout joyfully to Him with psalms. For the Lord is a great God, and a great King above all gods. (Psalm 95:1-3)

Come before His presence with thanksgiving. Let us enter into His courts with praise.

As we enter the sanctuary, we begin to sing, as we present ourselves before God.  As we worship together, we enter into His presence with joy.  As we praise Him, we will pray to Him… a prayer of supplication.  We want the Lord to minister to us through His Spirit.  So come, let us prepare to receive from God who heals all our diseases.

What should each one of us do to receive from God?

Some may need to repent.

Some may need to release anger.

Some may need to rededicate themselves.

Someone may need to forgive.

Someone may need to ask for forgiveness.

But we all need to praise!
